Couples Resort Contest Rules and Disclaimer

 

  1. Contests shall be evaluated and construed in accordance with the laws of the Canada.
    Contests ar restricted to entrants who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entering the Contest.
  2. Participants may not submit mass-produced or multiple entries. Multiple entries will invalidate all entries. Limit one (1 email) entry per person per month. Participants will be informed at the close of the contest if they are a winner. Winners will receive their prize notification via mail after the conclusion of the contest and winners have been verified.
  3. Couples Resort Inc. and their agencies assume no responsibility or liability for any damages, losses, or injury resulting from the acceptance or use of any prize. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim a prize, an alternative winner will be selected. Couples Resort Inc.  reserve the right to withdraw this Contest without prior notice and to disqualify any winner.
  4. Participants enter contest via email address, the winners of the contest grants Couples Resort Inc, and their affiliates permission to use their email address for purposes publishing the winners email address or any submitted information at the time of the contest on their website and newsletter.
  5. All entries of all persons, events, occurrences, and activities in or relating to the Contest become the sole property of Couples Resort Inc. will not be returned. Submission of any entry and participation by any Participant in the Contest grants Couples Resort Inc.  and its agents the right to publish, use, adapt, edit, and/or modify such entry in any way, in commerce and in any and all media, without limitation, and without consideration to the Participant Winner.
  6. Submission of any entry and participation by any Participant, who becomes a winner, in any recorded portion of, or event relating to, the Contest further constitutes the Participant’s irrevocable assignment and transfer to Couples Resort Inc. of any and all rights, title, and interest in and to the entry, including, without limitation, all copyrights.
  7. By entering, Participants represent and warrant that their entries and any other content that they use in the Contest constitute original material that they have the right to use or material in the public domain and that does not infringe the intellectual property or other proprietary or legal rights of any third party in any way. By entering, Participants agree to and do release, discharge, and hold harmless Couples Resort Inc. and their agents and affiliates from any damages arising from:
    1. Participant’s use, misuse, or possession of any material or content belonging to or infringing the rights of any third party;
    2. Participant’s acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize received in the Contest; and
    3. from Couples Resort Inc. use of winners,  name, email address or likeness. By participating, Participants agree to these Official Rules and decisions of Couples Resort Inc.  which shall be final in all respects.
  8. Couples Resort Inc. and their employees are not responsible for and shall not be liable for:
    1. late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries;
    2. telephone, electronic, hardware, or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties;
    3. errors in transmission;
    4. any condition caused by events beyond the control of Couples Resort, Inc. that may cause the contest to be disrupted or corrupted;
    5. any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by a prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of a prize, or from participation in the contest; or
    6.  any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the contest.
  9. Personal Information provided by contestant, such as name, address, phone and e-mail addresses will not be sold or shared with any third party. This information is treated as confidential, and only used as outlined in section 4 of this disclaimer. All personally identifiable information collected during the Participant’s participation in the Contest will be collected and used by Couples Resort Inc., its affiliates, agents, and marketers for the proper administration and fulfillment of the Contest, as described in these Official Rules and in accordance with Couples Resort Inc.. Any Personal Information received from minors, including their Submission, shall be immediately destroyed in compliance with federal law.
